Anna Tavano

Executive manager with more than 22 years of expertise in the banking sector, Anna Tavano is currently Head of Global Banking for HSBC in Italy, by virtue of her deep know-how in deal origination, advisory and execution. She is an economics and finance graduate of the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. Anna began her professional career in Citigroup, starting to work in London in 1997. Throughout the years, she worked as Managing Director in the Corporate and Investment Banking Division. Before gaining her current position, she was Vice Chairman for the Corporate Bank in Italy and Head of Public Sector for Citigroup. She also took up the role of Director General in the Italian public Sector. Anna Tavano is strongly committed to help women with their career. She is also interested in the broader issues of diversity and inclusion, in particular for what concerns the financial and corporate sectors.
