Laura Maida

Laura Maida has been Head of Strategic Initiatives at Intesa Sanpaolo since 2018, working within the CEO Strategic Support department. In this position, she coordinates a senior team to oversee cross-functional strategic projects and to support the Group CEO in assessing specific organic and inorganic opportunities (e.g., she is part of the leading team of the “ISP4ESG Program” to drive the ESG and sustainability agenda, she is involved in innovation and circular economy topics, and she facilitates partnerships with other institutions). Before ISP she was at Google Italy for four years as Industry Head of Finance, covering the top Italian Banking and Insurance groups. Prior to that, she spent ten years in McKinsey & Company, reaching the position of Associate Principal, supporting mainly large financial institutions in Italy, Netherlands, Turkey and Greece. She holds an MBA from Insead (July 07 class) and a degree cum laude in Economics from Bocconi University.
